一名30歲女子，因腹內長子宮肌腺瘤而進行手術切除，但術後返家卻長達2周都未排便，某日半夜突腹痛掛急診，竟從嘴巴吐出排泄物。事後檢查才了解，因開刀有疤痕沾黏，腸子彼此就像被「綁粽子」動不了，導致糞便一直累積，最終從口腔噴出。

物理治療師葉懿昕在《醫師好辣》節目上提到，該女子過去從來沒有過便秘，但術後出現嚴重便秘的情況，肚子一直感覺很脹，且雖會感到飢餓，卻始終沒辦法吃多，只要一吃多就會想吐。後來某日半夜腹痛到急診，竟吐出咖啡色、像糞便的東西。

葉懿昕接著說，當時收治的急診醫師在聽了女子病史後，就為她檢查大腸，結果一照發現裡面全都積滿了糞便，於是開立軟便劑協助對方順利排便，怎料返家後又連續5天沒有排泄，讓其相當緊張，便在醫師建議下，前往復健科進行檢查。

至於為何女子要到復健科檢查？葉懿昕說明，腸子平常是由自律神經控制，它平常都會自己活動，可是因為她開刀有疤痕沾黏，令皮膚、筋膜、內臟筋膜全部沾在一起，造成腸子彼此好像被「綁粽子」，完全動不了，糞便就會一直持續累積。
