過年期間各大廟宇香火鼎盛，民眾除了拜拜、求財開運，也可以擲筊試手氣。新北土城「永福岩清水祖師廟」就首次舉辦擲筊比賽，首獎祭出現金100萬元，另外還有許多「古董藝品」當獎品，邀請民眾到廟裡走春拜拜。
擲筊向神明請示是民間的信仰習俗，不過這回有機會靠手氣拿現金，新北土城永福岩清水祖師廟即將建廟100年，首次在過年期間舉辦擲筊比賽，冠軍可以抱回100萬元。
民眾：「這次有這個活動（擲筊比賽），親朋好友都有這個意願來參加，而且我還滿有信心的。」

民眾迫不及待，想要試試新年手氣，在除夕至初五，連續3聖筊就可以參加決賽 ，決賽將在初六晚上6時登場，擲出最多聖筊的民眾可以獨得現金100萬元，第2、3、4名也有特別獎，總價值超過百萬的木雕和石雕佛像。另外廟方準備了100件藝品，舉辦結緣擲筊大會，特色茶具、佛像和古董畫，民眾都有機會帶回家。土城永福岩清水祖師廟主委劉湘麟：「從小因為一個夢境跟祖師爺結緣，我今天藉這個契機，來還這個願，當上主委，我們建廟即將百年，所以藉著擲筊活動推廣出去，要做五朝清醮這件事情，讓大眾知道。」
廟方也大方送出紅包，除夕到初六，擲出1個聖筊就能拿1千元，邀請民眾到廟裡走春拜拜，沾沾新年喜氣，祈求新一年的平安順利。
