馬年大年初一，不少民眾都出門走春參拜，全台求財最有名南投縣竹山紫南宮，一早就已經擠滿借還發財金的人潮，廟方估計人數是往年的兩到三倍，人潮最多會在下午2、3點。

貢桌上的供品已經滿到看不到桌面，金紙也已經堆成小山，一旁拿香準備進去參拜的信眾更是大排長龍。南投竹山鎮全台求財最有名的紫南宮，每年春節期間香火鼎盛，大年初一一早就湧入不少人進廟宇參拜、進香，尤其是來借發財金的民眾，排隊人潮更是長達三十公尺。由於除夕廟門沒關，所以紫南宮一整晚人潮絡繹不絕，廟方的停車場也都停滿了車子，所有聯外通道也都是排隊車潮。民眾表示一大早從台北開過來，大概花費3個小時，卻發現今年人數比過去還多。廟方也估計今年人數會是往年的兩到三倍，預估人潮最多時段會在下午2、3點。
預估過年期間，紫南宮每日人數都會有10萬人以上，而廟方也設置停車場多達三千多個車位，要讓千里迢迢來參拜的信眾都可以進到廟宇內跟土地公借個發財金，新年事業吉利財源滾滾。
