網路常流傳有人擠痘痘，接著有長條乳酪狀的東西被擠出來，還稱是「療癒片」。整形外科醫師徐詣表示，這通常是粉瘤，粉瘤特色是中央有個小黑點，若是去擠壓，會有很多像乳酪般酸臭物質擠出來，若想斷根，手術取出患部裡的囊袋是最有效的方式。

整形外科徐詣上「醫師好辣」節目時指出，粉瘤是本來要長在表皮裡的東西，長到真皮裡面去，而產生一個囊袋，囊袋裡就會產生很多角蛋白，就像大家在網路影片，都很常看到擠一顆一顆痘子，用力擠下去，會有很多像乳酪東西擠出來，所以粉瘤比大家所想的都要常見。

徐詣指，之前他收治一名一名阿伯，外號就叫「乳酪伯伯」，因為他耳朵後面就是有一個大膿包，每天都會擠出很多像乳酪東西，然後就是源源不絕，家人一直以為是脂肪瘤，但換藥換一陣子，越換越嚴重就發炎感染，帶來就醫，他一看就是粉瘤。

徐詣指，粉瘤如果沒有利用手術把它整個囊袋，都拿掉的話，很容易反覆發作，這名阿伯在簡易手術後，就告別耳後的這顆大粉瘤，不再是「乳酪伯伯」，但很多人會把粉瘤跟脂肪瘤搞混。

徐詣指，粉瘤與脂肪瘤基本上都是良性的東西，粉瘤是良性角蛋白積聚，脂肪瘤則是良性脂肪組織增生，粉瘤中央會有個開口，並且因氧化呈現黑色，像是一個小黑點，會有像乳酪東西跑出來，不要自己去擠，「因為擠對醫生（手術時）來說，（粉瘤）那個囊袋就看不清楚了，不好拿掉。」
